Northwich fans make excuse for lower turnouts than us

Cant beleive ive just seen this on the northwich forum :o

I know this is really sad, but I had to look it up...
From Wikipedia
Northwich has a population of 19,259 (not including the surrounding villages)

Altrincham has a population of 67,000.

considering you do have a big population you only seem to get a couple of hundred more than us :)

The figure quoted on Wikpedia is for the area covered by the old Alty District ie places like Dunham &Y Warburton are included:

Northwich, United Kingdom Population: 34,520
1991Office for National Statistics

Altrincham Population: 40,042
1991Office for National Statistics

and we have a city with a couple of big clubs rather close!

Vics should really get their facts right!
