I have been a supporter of Alty home and away since the mid 70's and have seen many ref's who have been  good bad and indifferent. I have to say that the performance of the Rushden ref was one of the most inept and incompetent performances in all that time. I am not one of those people who blame the ref if we loose even though I am Alty through and through. I have been taking my lad and his friends for over 4 years now and tell then never to boo the referee off the pitch as they do a hard job. No such advice this time. I told them to boo him off to their hearts content as even a group of 11 year old kids could see that he had ruined the game without any justification. Were you watching the same game as the rest of us ?

On a boring technical note is there anything that can be done to stop the speakers constantly cutting out when announcements are made. I think there may be a problem with the receiver ?

I am reliably informed that it gets dark by 7:45pm. How do they intend to watch the match ? So far we have one burnt out generator, one unpaid electricity bill and an FA cup game abandoned. Anybody got a light ?

Well me and my lad Tom contributed another 2. Anyone notice on page 10 of the grossly overpriced photocopied programme costing £3 that the Altrincham 'Pen Pics' Section was written in typeface 7. You will need a magnifying glass to the power of 10 to read it. For those who do not have the programme try typing it in word in that size font and it is next to impossible. One hot dog, 2 chips one with curry £9.50 ! Nice to see GH thanking fans on way out for their efforts.

The Ghanaian Gazelle ! You will be leaving us just as Alty are getting their house in order. This cannot be acceptable. Maybe if you ran for president in Ghana instead of USA you could order live TV feeds of all Alty games to that wonderful country. Where the f@*k is it anyway ? Is it near Aberystwyth ?
