A postponement would be most welcome.

Get Antony Taylor down early afternoon

You read my mind.. Anthony Taylor says no from his armchair. Play it later in the season.

I did think the game would be a doubt given the forecast, but in the middle of town it doesn't seem to have been coming down too bad this morning.

Would obviously much prefer it to be off - and I never thought I'd ever say that about an Altrincham football match.

If the conditions are similar in Halifax there could be a scenario where we play and they get the night off...

The details of Phil Parkinson's somewhat experimental Alty starting XI for tonight's fixture against Notts County have just leaked online:

1. Ian Senior
2. Shaun Densmore
3. Peter Densmore

4. Frank Sinclair (aiming to do his old club Wrexham a favour)
5. Danny Higginbotham
6. Neil Sorvel

7. Sir Graham Brady (who has allegedly asked for a salary of £60k per year and also reportedly demanded to be played on the right wing)
8. Kyle Perry
9. Byron Harrison
10. Morrissey

11. Johnny Marr (the first time that he has played alongside No. 10 since 1986).

Suspect source but if you're sure it's reliable it's an inspired selection. Brilliant!

I heard his wife will also take over all administration at the club for the duration of his playing career. Salaried of course :) He will also petition for the club to forge links with overseas club, with many possibility of overseas summer tours (all outside the EU however)

I see Chris Senior, therefore, continues to elude us.

That's brilliant , not sure about Danny Higginbottom at CB mind or is he playing in the Beckenbauer mold .

Definitely, there good, shame we couldn't convert the pen. Mugged for there pen, was it in the box and harsh.

We hit the bar, if we'd had our best 11 out and not had a cup semi on Saturday, maybe a different game.
