Kettering v Fulham fascinates me, my son supports Fulham, but having taken him to a few games at The Cottage, their fans, if they take many, will enjoy the away end at Rockingham Rd. Many are old school, ie Div 2/3 but they used to get 3000 then. The newcomers will have the surprise of their comfortable lives.

I'd love Blyth to get through and meet Sunderland.

Nice to see Histon get another potentially average draw.

When we played at Everton we took around 6,000 and our average home gate that season was about 1,000

We took even more than that to Anfield if I remember correctly.

This thing about 'part-time' supporters or glory hunters has always been a contentious issue. Personally, I think, so what. The more the merrier and it's all good for the club. Human nature is such that people will want to be part of the big days and not the humdrum of the lower existence. You either rejoice in those big days for what they are or you moan about the part-timers, become bitter and twisted and end up in a bedsit filled with an air of urine and vitriol, old and with no company, but the flea-ridden cat that you abuse at every opportunity. Spending your lonely hours writing letters to the MEN signed Appalled of Alty.

I used to be "holier than thou" about the glory hunters 9easy to be when 15 years old) but the fact is you've got to have some way to get hooked on Alty! And home sheff Utd or a trip to Wembley or Anfield is more likely to get people along and interested than away FGR or a CSC match at Crewe.
