If it had been anyone other than Forest Green I'd have been truly gutted for them.

It wasn't and I'm not.

Well done to Barrow on a truly fantastic away following and, by the sound of it, a great performance too.

Hard luck to Barrow...said many times that they are such a big club waiting to happen.  Great  effort

Delighted that the unfriendly club on the hill will take no further part in the competition.

Barrow took 7,500 away fans?
Where were the other 6,500 when they had a home league game against us?

They probably had (in their view) better things to do.

Derby County Burton Albion took 11,000 to Old Trafford a few years ago. I wouldn't read too much into it though.

We took legions back in the day.

On a slightly seperate note, Torquay had a good win today over Blackpool (been there done that - twice) which means that our game against them on Jan 24th is postponed. Another lump of lost revenue as they'll bring less in midweek than they would on a saturday.

Following his recently reported comments, surely Darren Sheridan's Barrow team should really be beating teams like Middlesbrough....?

Delighted to see Forest Green and Macc depart from the competition.

The 6,500 all turning up for the big game! Otherwise known as once a year fans or Big Time Charlies
I know its wrong of me to say this but one of the FGR goals was fantastic! Most players in the football league would have been proud of a goal like that.

The result that really made me laugh was Man City 0-3 Nottingham Forest!

When we played at Everton we took around 6,000 and our average home gate that season was about 1,000

I've been assured that we'd have stood a good chance against City today the way they performed.
