I do agree that if a player is injured then they shouldn't be let go but he is quite old and what happens if we release the wrong players and end up going on a dismal run, resulting in a relegation battle again. Suppose we have to show faith in GH for whoever he decides to let go.

You don't release players when they are injured. That's extremelybad form.

Asides from the fact Streety will be on a contract

To let Elam go to "free up money for signings" doesnt make sense. Why not keep him and not buy anybody.

Small squad: lose one player and get 2 or more in?
We have been getting rather low on available players recently.

I think it's more a case of releasing players to balance the books. Freeing up money for new signings doesn't really come into the equation as I see it.

we need to keep our good players,if we do get anyone in then it will be on loan in my opionion
