They are also reporting that the pitch is under snow and the car parks and surrounding areas are Icey and it doesn't look good, so why don't they do the sensible thing and call it off now like Halifax have done....

And then get in touch with Halifax and offer to play our home game against them tomorrow night.

As Jamie said the other day though, not all fans have the internet and it would be a bit unfair if a regular (or a season ticket holder) missed the game.

It would also hit the crowd hard although I see what you're saying.

Just now from Guiseley forum

Just past the ground no chance of a game tomorrow even a waste of time in having a inspection

This all seems rather farcical.

Guiseley were much quicker to act as regards the postponement of the originally scheduled fixture on Saturday, 26th January 2013, which was called off after a pitch inspection on the preceding afternoon.

Just seen pictures of Headingley Cricket Ground which I believe is not that far away on SKY

Not a cat in hells chance of playing tomorrow unless the clouds go into reverse and suck all the snow back up again

7inc of snow, could move that with just one shovel, must be in an important part of the pitch

was in Leeds today - not much snow really anywhere along the A64 from York / round to Headingley / Leeds 6.  Guiseley is a wee bit further out and seems to have copped for the lot.

Guiseley is quite a lot higher than Leeds.
