Altrincham FC First Team / Re: Wealdstone Match Thread
« on: March 27, 2024, 10:06:09 PM »
I think the fact Wealdstone started off at a gallop coupled with the fact that they had a few lucky bounces caused their confidence to grow and ours to wobble. I certainly feared the worst and was very glad to go in level at half time.

In the second half we got the goal we needed in double quick time and they simply fell away.

It's easy to say that when you aren't being asked to make up the lost gate receipts

I cleared all my cookies and my history and it made no difference other than losing all my saved passwords.

Totally fuuked up. Someone needs to get a grip because the forum is slowly going down the pan

Not sure it was a red card though

I spoke too soon. It's not working for me this morning although it did briefly last night

It's very very rare to find a player leaving a club with pretty much unequivocal love and affection from the entire fanbase. I think we may have landed a cracker here.

Where are you getting that from?

I think he was better than the goalie /York city fielded. Good luck to him.

Mine has been broken for months and I've had a good moan about it. Miraculously, as of this evening, it is now working properly much to my surprise, A big thank you to whoever did what.

I think we should get at them. Borehamwood will no doubt be expecting to carry on from where they left off.

Hopefully spear headed by Justin's pace we'll have other ideas.

Is anyone close to a yellow card suspension at the moment? It seems like quite a few have been handed out recently.

Baines gets a good view of whats happening and shouts orders. Osborne gets on with the execution.

The fans were there. Come the Oldham game the Prawn sandwich brigade will turn up.

That was very enjoyable. We need to keep our feet on the ground though. They were woeful.

Good for the goal difference though ans it may come down to that in the end.

It worked well for the first half in Hartlepool

No idea on the team. I hope Justin can play a bigger part than he did on Saturday.

We are York's bogey team so anything can happen

It was sh*t or bust. We were going for the points and the gamble didn't pay off.

In the cold late of day I think Woking shut us down with their resolute tackling. It was one of those games where we didn't get any luck and all of our shots were straight at their goalie.

Hopefully, things will turn out different on Tuesday.
