Now the barrel chested one has gone who will get the armband?

Personally I hope it's Lawton as he seems to be natural leader and is also very vocal.

Robbie Lawton seems the obvious choice out of the players currently at the club. Chris Lane or Greg Young may also be candidates.

Robbie for me too - especially if he can be accomodated to play in central midfield.

Robbie is the obvious choice. Most of the other candidates cannot be guaranteed a place on the teamsheet week in week out. Little, Young and Coburn I guess are options but I don't think a striker or keeper can captain a side as well and Young isn't (or doesn't seem to be) as commanding a character as Robbie.

If Robbie is going to be a regular he would be an excellent choice. Young as backup

I thought Robbie played better when he was captain

Robbie would be my choice - as has been mentioned before he's quite a vocal player and would lead by example.

Yepp, Robbie as well for me, not only because he is a regurlar, but he shows 110% commitment every game and has passion for football. He is one of the few inspirational players I have seen in Non League football, and he is a brilliant motivator.
