Sounds like a close game HT 0-0 but Alty shaded it. Lets hope Dunc will come on and add that bit of quality needed to win this.

Half time scores:

Droylsden 0-1 Hinckley United
Gloucester City 0-0 Altrincham
Harrogate Town 2-0 Boston United
Vauxhall Motors 0-1 FC Halifax Town

As things stand we would drop to 7th.

back to Alty - we need three points tonight - Watmore to come on and give us the missing ingredient.

Mills should have taken it, with Buzz on the bench! Reeves confidence is clearly low, another poor decision. Need Watmore on up top, Doughty on so Clee can push on !!! Get a grip and make the changes, these sound crap !!!

You couldn't make that up.... only at at Alty.

are you at the game?

They sound like rational ideas, but unless you are there - how do you know what we need?

From the "these sound crap" i'd say no.

However, I have never seen Ben Mills take a penalty I don't think. Densmore should have taken it.

Its obvious that another player should be taking the pens

I think Buzz is first choice to take pens, but he is on the bench.

Seem to remember Densmore smashing one in away at Hayes & Yeading a few seasons ago - maybe he should be our second choice after buzz.

This is a joke if we don't win this....unless Watmore is some what injured? Then there is no excuses why he is not playing in this game so far! Bad management!

Harrogate and Halifax both won again and our hopes are beginning to fade into the distance, if not entirely over.

How bad is Reeves at penalties for such a top goalscorer?

To be fair Colin Little could also miss a few penalties

In fairness though Ant, he wasn't our number 1 penalty taker either. There were normally at least 2 ahead of him.

Most of Reeves's goals come from good positioning off the ball and poachers instinct, where you don't have time to think.

A lot of the time when Reeves has time to think about what he is doing, he over complicates things and is let down by poor technique or lack of composure.

A mediocre game against 2 mediocre sides. As reeves was stepping up,I was saying please don't put it straight down the middle. I wish he did.

Sinnott will get a lot of stick, but the only decision he got wrong all night for me was not bringing Duncan on earlier.

Overall a much better performance than the last 3 games, but lacked the finishing touch, which has all but ended our hopes

agreed, if a defender was trying to block the pen he would've scored no doubt.
