Title: Wanted: your memories of Alty 3 Weymouth 2 in the APL title decider - March 1980

Any recollections/anecdotes regarding the following match would be most welcome (no matter how obscure or surreal) for potential inclusion in a forthcoming article for the Robins Review:
 
Saturday, 1st March 1980
APL
 
Altrincham 3 Weymouth 2
   

** League leaders Weymouth visit third-placed Alty;
 
** John Connaughton's APL debut in goal for the Robins;
 
** Graham Roberts (later of Spurs & England) played in midfield for Weymouth;
 
** Weymouth stun the home crowd courtesy of Anniello Iannone's third minute opening goal;
 
** Barry Whitbread replies with a fifteen minute first half hat-trick for Alty;
 
** Iannone scores his second goal for the visitors after 89 minutes;
 
** Alty's win sees them gain the two points necessary to leapfrog Weymouth and return to the top of the league table on goal difference.

I remember them scoring first and that nobody was worried in the slightest that we would not win.
