From John Laidlar's match report:

"Griffin returned from illness and reserve Adam Saville was named on the bench for the first time.

Crowther also started while loanee Phillips was out injured and not in the squad."

Both forwards need to play the remaining games, we need wins, to win games we need to score goals. What I want to see tomorrow night, is tempo, desire and aggression. Because that's what will get us out of this mess. Torquay are billing this as the biggest game in their history, they know what's at stake. Let's not have another FGR, another Tamworth, another Eastbourne, another Halifax. Let's get down there with some pride, passion, self belief and rage. They are 18th placed Torquay who've won six home games all season. We can win the game, time to step up.

I sort of understand the thinking behind this. We're awful at holding onto a lead but if we set up a bit more conservatively then hit them with a Reeves and Ginelly double sub in the 2nd half it could shake things up a bit. We had to try something different.

I'm glad I didn't go there tonight. What kind of team is that. Sooner Tolson goes the better.

Ginnelly on the bench ?...........maybe ill or carrying a knock ?.........he has not been great in the last two home games, but where is the outlet without him

One recent youth teamer on the pitch and three players on the bench who have not played yet...............says it all really going into such an important game  :-[

The above said, this is the sort of game we will go and win when everyone least expects it
