I've said it before - it would be a bad idea to play for Saunders. Wrexham improved when he left and he got a "Star studded" Donny relegated.

He has made silly statements as Wrexham manager but he was a belting player in his day including playing for Wales....

Thought he was a splendid footballer, but he's not cut it as a manager. He would be better as a manager's No2 as I reckon he would have a good rapport with the players.

Sammy Lee.  Every time he got a management job I burst out laughing. He was a quality player in my opinion, anybody getting into the Liverpool team in the early 80s had to be quality. Manager material? A million miles off.

Pre season training is a 'maybe' or signing is a 'maybe' - very different things I suspect.  Difficult decision for Lee if Damien does want to use us to get fit for the season.  Is it worth disrupting the pre-season training and getting the signed up strikers working together on the off chance Damien doesn't get a better offer and we can get him back (budget permitting)?
