Playing music after goals should be outlawed.
Why?
I would describe myself as a traditionalist and enjoy the atmosphere around Moss Lane as much as anyone, but seriously, sometimes the game moves on and I think some of the luddites on here need to accept this. Look at the changes to darts or snooker for example and how it's effected it popularity - music after goals is simply a part of the on going shift in attempting to increase the entertainment/glamour at sporting events.
I'm not suggesting we have big flashing lights and cheerleaders or anything - just a tune after we score a goal, like lots of clubs do. Times are tough and, whether we like it or not we are competing with a multitude of other activities and commodities people could spend their disposable income, and, while a song after we score a goal will not directly effect our attendance either way, it does add to the atmosphere and may be enjoyed by youngsters and the next generation of alty fans.
Finally to echo Jacko's comments,"this club and its fans have to evolve or face being swallowed up by younger thinking clubs, any ideas are useful and positive" This extends from the boardroom to the bootroom, and from the veteran supporters to the first timer.
