Jack Thorpe - great fan, great groundsman, best wishes!
Post here all who helped "fork" the pitch to get games on in the 70s & ealy 80s.

Jack Thorpe was a wonder groundsman - we went years without having a game postponed because of his brilliance.  I remember one December / January Saturday where only 4 matches at any level took place in the entire country - and we were one of them.
