Personally I think the fixtures have fallen badly in terms of "jollies", Gateshead away on a Tuesday night, Cambridge away is again on a Tuesday and York away is on a Monday night!!!

Not so.

I suspect that 5th April 2010 is Easter Bank Holiday Monday, so almost certain to be an afternoon kick-off.

What a picturesque start to the season for Jim "Fantasy Football" Rushe et al:

Best set of fixtures for me in years avoiding on call weekends, I'll miss Eastbourne and Kettering again but otherwise not bad for a southern based fan. Cambridge on a Tuesday though WTF, best drinking day out ruined. Histon will have to be a poor substitute.

Fancied Gateshead away too, but another night game, my Newcastle reunion weekend on ice.

I can walk to Wimbledon.......and stagger home.

The discussion at work today was one of disappointment with the Chester fan in the office. Me that I miss Hayes and having to bring my train forward to get back in time for Histon.Him that he might not make the trip to Moss Lane as he is at the Leeds festival.

Good though that we get a couple of tedious games out the way early (Histon and Grays away come to mind)

Histon is a bolt on poor game, it will be 0-1, but an alternative Saturday to Cambridge on a Tuesday for those of us of a drinking persuasion.
