Have they got enough players left to play at right back?

Seriously hope not

The guy has never been anything other than wholly professional. He came in with the target of getting us promoted which he did. He brought Duncan Watmore through and helped him develop into the player who was bought by a Premier League Club.
Another League scalp (Barnsley) and seconds from defeating Colchester on their own patch.
He deserves our thanks and appreciation not slagging off and belittling as I anticipate some will take the opportunity to do

Indeed they are Jock - I just fear that Lee's achievements (and there were a significant number of them don't forget) will be overlooked in an avalanche of criticism, personal abuse etc.

So, did he walk or was he pushed......or was the parting of ways 'by mutual consent'?

That statement on the official website isn't really explicit on that score.

It's the absolute reverse of explicit, Cult. Opaque is the word I've just used to describe it to a mutual acquaintance of ours in Timperley. My reading of it is that he did not resign (no mention of consent, mutual or otherwise), but that's just the way it looks to me - I have no way of knowing the truth. Still, in a world where the word 'problem' is effectively banned (something I have an issue with ...) and nobody is honest enough to acknowledge something as second-hand (pre-owned/pre-loved etc.!) one can hardly expect a press release to be explicit or use words of one syllable ...

I think it's clear enough - 'parted company with' is a tactful way of saying 'sacked'. If LS had offered to resign or it was mutual, that would I'm sure have been mentioned.

First sensible post, thanks Wayno.

Lee's been responsible for some great memories and has improved us season upon season until this one.

He hasn't been perfect, however he hasn't been blessed with much luck this season either.

Right decision, right time. Good luck Lee. Time to save our season.
