no bare with me, apparantly this lot who struggled to beat us TWICE and never looked like scoring either time are gonna run away with this league. So by my calculations we should be in with at least a shout ?

So Luton plan to introduce hooliganism to the BSP. Horrible place, useless team and gutless fans who like to cause trouble at places like Watford.

Why do relegated league clubs believe this? It can only be self-delusion born out of desperate hope that they'll be different.

Since the end of the 2004-2005 season these teams have been relegated to the conference :  Kidderminster Harriers, Cambridge United, Oxford United, Rushden & Diamonds, Boston United, Torquay United, Mansfield Town,Wrexham . They're all still with us and realistically only one has any chance of going back up this year.

In the same period these teams have gone up :  Barnet, Carlisle United, Accrington Stanley, Hereford United, Dagenham & Redbridge, Morecambe, Aldershot Town, Exeter City. None of these teams came straight back down and none will this season.

Why would anyone believe there is a gap in class between the bottom of League Two and the top of the Conference? If there is one it's a gap which seems to favour the conference teams.

It is logical to assume that playing at a lower level gives a better chance of success. The reality is often very different. Have a Goodwin for taking the time to research this list.

In all fairness to the Luton fans:

a)He does say "The bottom half of league 2 teams you could swap with the top half of the BSP and you would probably see an improvement in terms of the quality of the teams.".

b)the guy who posted it put it because everyone else thinks they won't walk it.

He's still an arrogant tosser mind you.

Going by previous years,  a biggish club who have had a few years to establish themselves will win it my bet goes with:-
Torquay or Cambridge (if they dont make it this time) with an outside bet on kidderminster

Well lets have it - Luton couldnt beat little old Altrincham either at home or away. How will they cope with the full time teams in this league?

deeply deeply depressing reading.

Run riot...cause havoc...leave our mark on the dump

Where are we 1975?

Barrow is foul, Alty's past its best, Kidderminster is dull as ditch water but still they want to smash 'em up.

oh well.

No doubt it will be a couple of 14 year old feral children, who have nothing better to do at the weekend then dress like scrotes, and attempt to intimidate supporters of other clubs, regardless of their high pitched voices and sh*t comments. They will wan't to pretend they are the hard men of Luto Town able to take on the small towns of the BSP, it won't happen and it never will its not the 1980's any more! After a couple of "you used to be a big club" they will soon come crashing back down to earth, and they will realise life in the BSP is not going to be a walk over, they will probably end up like Cambridge, Oxford and Torquay, and be in the league for a few seasons. Yes they are going to have an attitude problem untill december, they will say the famous "we should be beating teams like that"...this will however, come to an abrupt end when the likes of Altrincham, Barrow and Sailsbury will probably beat them at Dogkennel Road.

Overall I look forward to playing them...if you look at games this season with the exception of Burton and Torquay we have played well against the larger clubs from league 2 e.g Oxford, Mansfield, Wrexham to name a few.

I dare say you are right CP Alty about the 14 yr old schoolboys trying it on.

It's the idea that they think they will make a mark on the BSP by smashing stuff up that depresses me.

Perhaps my mate was right - a west yorkshire town with a west yorkshire outloook, that just happens to be in the south.

Fan bloody tastic.
