Obviously JD is looking to vent his anger, why bring Alty in to it ? Should Sertori and Thornley have come on   :P     Very very poor today but I would always put Alty winning the league above a world cup win ( Alty hurts even more )

I am angry that professional players have given 3 and a half  gutless performances, but mostly that these charlatans seem unable to play together. Lampard, for instance, has had umpteen hots on goal without disturbing the scorers and Gerrard had several shots today without worrying the German goalkeeper. They sem totally unable to pass & bring other players into play and I suspect they seek their own glory rather than the teams.
Even when Alty play badly, I have never seen them not play as a team - look at the recommendation Youngy gave to Damien Reeves. Alty players seem to want to play for each other, with few exceptions I am not sure you can say that about the England team.

Since the New Zealand squad at this World Cup largely comprised players of BSP standard, I genuinely believe Alty could have performed with great credit against any of England, Italy - and especially France !

Based on the following scorelines, I think that we would definitely be in with a shout ;D

Pre-Season Friendly, July 2002:                                  Altrincham 2 Malawi 3,
Africa Cup of Nations, January 2010:                         Malawi 3 Algeria 0
World Cup, June 2010:                                               England 0 Algeria 0

We're much better now than we were in 2002 so I think Fabio's boys would probably struggle ;)

New Zealand were the only unbeaten side in the 2010 world cup.  NONLEAGUEFACT

Do I win anything as I had them in the sweepstake ?
