Couldnt have asked for a better set of results tonight...
« on: March 17, 2009, 09:52:44 PM »

Couldn't have gone better tonight, we are now in a situation where, Grays and Barrow have to win at least FOUR of their remaining fixtures to overhaul us,and woking at least THREE, that in the even unlikelier event that we fail to pick up another point.Still cant rule out FGR,York or Weymouth to fill one of those two remaining relegation spots either yet, Barrow have a future defining week approaching with back to back games against Lewes and weymouth, six points are must for them.Grays seem to have the toughest run in.

On the basis of the above run ins I would expect Woking and Grays to both go down. I think Barrow will do enough in their home games.

Vics and Lewes are already down, Weymouth will join them as I can't see them getting more than a point or two max.

After that, Barrow have the best run in so I'd expect the fourth spot to be either Woking or Grays - with the latter looking hot favourite.

Unfortunately, the Grassers will have to wait until next season.

PS: Apart from anything else, if Woking went down, Confguide would be absolutely decimated ;D

A win on Saturday will make al the difference. If the other results go for us again as last week/midweek although not safe I'll be hoping for Chester as next season's derby.

Tuesay's results now mean that LEWES can't catch us. Then on Saturday we beat F.G.R., & VICS lose or draw with TORQUAY then they can't catch us, So at this moment 1down 3 to go. However, more importantly we need as many spectators we can get till the seasons end in order that the club doesn't have to reduce the budget too much for next season.
