Your wish is my command

2-2
Hulme, Mahon
113 Alty

Just noticed on JL's site how bad our historic record is against teams from Telford, especially away.
Would be happy with a draw and hopefully Jordan can start another scoring run.
-
Telford 11/8
Draw 12/5
Alty 13/8
Interestingly we’ve gone in from 400/1 to 250/1 to win the league Since yesterday, I wonder it Marriott is on the move from kings Lynn or something.

I suspect this is due to one of the betting sites highlighting our form in the last 10 games via twitter

We should have won there last season and I felt we blew it. Let's go out and prove we're better than they are - because we are !
-
Telford are usually quite a physical team and difficult to beat...
Let’s hope we can do the double over them in short time...
Not the best ground we go to...
-
Telford's pitch is often very unhelpful. The good news is it is bright and breezy here this morning and already 9 degrees. Looking good for football. Let's make lots of noise.
-
Strong winds (40mph) forecast for the middle of the day.
Take care out there people 😉
-
BBC has got 'fresh breeze'. Good for drying the pitch.
-
Tickets booked, 3 of us making the trip. Bring on the Alty.
Guess same team as the good win at Kettering, barring injuries.
-
Radio Robins for me today.
Looking forward to another away win.
Come on Alty.
-
Cant get to this one - good luck to all those attending.
Telford have been patchy all season, and not had a good run of late, but they are capable of scoring goals against good sides, so I am a bit nervous about this one.
Will go for optimism - Telford 1 Alty 2 - Hulme, Mahon attendance 1066 - 137 in away end
Head says a draw a good result though

Well done on the score Mr Flynn. 151 in the away end, which is impressive and Hancock and JJ- w can called him that now - scoring to come from behind twice.
That goes down as a very big away point. we are down 1 place to 7th but two home wins in a row would push us well up the table.
I couldn't get to this one, but would be interested in views of those who went - battling performance or off day?

Just 20 minutes up the road from me so home early.
The pitch was (as usual) not in a good state but playable. (It’s always been a crap surface from the day it was laid).
The loss of Tom Peers early on unbalanced Alty a bit and a fortuitous goal set Telford on there way
Alty played their best football at the latter part of each half and they deservedly got a point and could have taken all three.
Telfords game plan was to not lose the game and their keeper gave a frustratingly annoying display on how to waste time .. I was amazed he didn’t get a caution for his continual flouting of the law but yet another weak Conf North official took no action.
A great strike from The new JJ gave us a deserved share of the spoils.
My MoM was Jordan Hulme who worked tirelessly throughout.
Telford has one advantage for me, in that it is close to where I live. Other than that, it has no appeal other than the road out ....
I’m expecting Alty to comfortably beat them at Moss Lane on Tues night when I shall hopefully revert to my 90 minute drive there and back.
-
Telford's tactics summed up by the pigeon mess covering the away terracing.
-
If Telford were the only team playing a match within 100 miles on a Tuesday night, I'd stay at home and watch Emmerdale. We really ought to be beating teams like them.
-
I thought quite a few players had an off day but we still should have got three points from the game. Hopefully a better pitch and no wind will be in our favour on Tuesday

Who struggling with wind?
-
Pleased we got something out of the game, minimum we deserved on a very poor pitch and wind didn't help. Both there goals were fortuitous in my opinion and were crosses to back post. JJ goal was superb, we didnt test the goalie enough in my opinion. Thought they tired in last 15/20 mins and we came close to scoring with 1 cleared off the line.
Hopefully we'll play better on Tuesday, nothing to fear there.

Some good performances today, but some not so good performances.
My prediction was 2_2,, got it right but we should have won it.

TT has been good all season but at fault for both goals. Shouldn't have been beaten over him like that.........twice......in the same game.
-
Been pouring down most of the night at manchester airport. Anyone know how the pitch is holding up to it.
-
Interesting to see the video is labelled Telford vs ALFRETON. I was at the match and it's great to see the two Alty goals again. I hadn't realised how good both goals were. It's a shame the highlights don't show quite how close Alty were to getting a winner right at the end.
-
First goal was a complete flook and I think TT can be excused being out of position. Second was a perfectly executed free kick right under the bar. Probably wasn't aiming to score, rather put a ball in someone might get on the end of, but if you place it that accurately you've always got the chance. I do think it might have been a little bit wind assisted though.

Agree with green. Disagree with red. Both their goals were flukey. IMHO Tony has a real shout at being 'Player of the Season' if his form holds up. Great save on Saturday from that volleyed shot.
