Saturday's referee

Former Knobsock of the Season winner, Mr.Salisbury (for those with short memories, he had that memorable game at Moss Lane against Hednesford when he sent Simon Richman off after 8 minutes. He actually got worse as the game went on.)

I'm not sure just what we've done to deserve this.

Also waved away a nailed on penalty at Guiseley in August, there's a video of that somewhere

For any of our fans who have never seen this guy, he is an absolute tube. At least it's not the Southport game.

Tim Deasy will need to be careful when lining up a defensive wall in case the ref tries to catch him out with a quick free-kick...

Agreed Jimmy - he talked to Tim Deasy about his blatant time wasting in a sensible manner at the end of the 1st half: "I know what you are doing and stop it now"

Agreed - although Griff's booking was a nonsense - his assistant was much closer and gave nothing

Couldn't blame him for the refused penalty....only obvious when you saw it head on. I thought he had a perfectly good game. Third time lucky ?

He could have played for another hour and sent 2 more off for them and we still would have lost

I'm not sure about that Wayne I thought we looked likely in injury time just a bit odd we took so long to go for it against 10 men
