Was Keith Russel the last player we paid money for?
Do you think the club will ever be in the position to buy players again (without gettinging into the financial mess we got last time that is)?

If we avoid the drop then perhaps that is what is being planned?

I hope so, for us to progress a bit we may need to spend a bit?

Peter Band was the last player we paid a transfer fee for as far as I can recall.You have to laugh that we paid £15,000 for Keith russell all those years ago.Good grief,what we'd give to spend £15k on a player these days!!!!

15k for Keith Russell ...... what sort of player would 15k buy you nowadays ... a proven goalscorer at Unibond level perhaps ? .....
