Why are are we pushing people into pubs when our own bar will be open from appx 12.30 & it will also be showing the early kick off on TV.

Chippy across the road aswell.

Why go anywhere else ?

Because the bar isn't that great compared to other options available.

But it's money coming into the club, we should be encouraging people to use it more.

Will the bar be showing the live football this Saturday or cronulla sharks v Canberra raiders from the 2004 Australian rugby league season?
 ::) ::) ::)

Yes, the football will shown as normal.

The problem with football as a whole is things like that Sheff Utd match is almost encouraging cheats.

Their opponents must have been well ahead & through no fault of their own, the game gets abandoned & probably replayed from 0-0 again in full.

Yes, the laws state their must be a minimum of 8 or 7 players (doesn't matter) or the game can't continue, well that's fine, but surely the team at fault would then have conceded the match.
Not replay the match, and it's this having to replay matches that is most strange.

In most other sports, golf, tennis, snooker, boxing , if you are unfit to continue for whatever reason, you concede the match, none of this replaying of matches, at present, football just opens itself up for cheats & it needs to stop, laws need changing to stop cheats.

Me & a mate went to that Runcorn game on the coach, yes it was bonfire night i seem to recall aswell.

The coach did seem to take forever getting back, i think it did head towards Liverpool at one point.

53
You mean finish the game ?

According the that BBC report, the referee was forced off with an injured calf.

Must have been a sliding tackle from Sinclair.

The fair thing to do is play out the remaining time at no expense to Alty (or our fans).

I wonder how much they are going to fine themselves for an admin error ?

Funny how if clubs make an "admin error" they get fined or points deducted.

Anyone know what the score was ?

Depends on any clubs financial situation, wasn't it Leeds that were bought for a £1 ?

You can all come down and watch Macc play Swindon.

You'd probably feel quite at home in the away end.

At least we would be supporting the Robins

Gibraltar

Gibraltar coach Allen Bula has already persuaded his nephew, former Manchester United defender Danny Higginbotham, to play for them, and is delighted that Wiseman is ready to join his squad.

"We have been looking and to get a defender of Scott's calibre is fantastic," Bula told Sky Sports.

"My main targets have been defenders, and we got Danny and now to add Scott to the calibre of players we already have is great news for Gibraltar."
