Alty flying at the moment, United and Ciddy both not playing, oxford bringing a few, nothing else to do on a sunday when theres no sky games in the pubs, 1,500+ on sunday.
-
Hopefully a good back page spread in Messenger as that'd help.
-
Fingers crossed. If we keep up this kind of form then I think we can expect our average crowd to go up this year, helped by the Wrexham game turnout.
-
The Wrexham gate has swelled the average to over 1250 I think. A good turnout on Sunday would boost this even further! ;)
-
and an alty win :) :)
-
Like those with Facebook will know my status says it all what else do the boys have too do. Lets go get Oxford and lets pray saturdays results go our way and we can be 8th by sunday night yes 8th ;D ;D ;D

Just how many 'floaters' do we estimate Alty have?
I.e - fans who will come down quite reguarly when we are winning etc?

Hard to tell, this is the first time we've been winning since 2004 ::) :D

Loved Conners' Resurgent Robins' headline last week, should be a good one tomorrow!

Don't want to sound like an anorak, but I was thinking the best way to guage the "real" average attendance of a club is to take the median and not the mean average. That way you can avoid anomalies like playing Cambridge on a bank holiday when your ground is 1.3 miles away etc etc
So from 5 crowds in descending order 3,498 - 1,003 - 924 - 918 - 897 the average crowd would be 924 not nearly 2,000 - which is much more representative.
Ok maths lesson over (Ps I was average at GCSE maths on a good day so am not boasting)
Anyone know what our median average crowd would be this season?
-
The median crowd average for home league games is the 1005 at Mansfield.
-
now the game is on sunday i have been able to persuade several other people up in manc for a gig to come along, thus swelling the crowd by 5!

jim,
Yes indeed, I shall be there at The Ritz in the company of various Harbingers and that groupie of theirs who supports Alty and Aston Villa.
I missed their performance in Manchester back in January due to suffering an outbreak of flu.
Look forward to putting a face to the name on Sunday evening.
-
Floater here, I'm afraid.
I get down when I can, really looking forward to the game on Sunday.
