Definateley the Merthyr 9-2 drubbing, then Boston 6-1 in midweek. Oh what a season that was. Good old Ken Mckenna at his best.

I watched the 7-0 against Barnet ...also that era (81 ish) think we beat Trowbridge ?? 6-0 in a game ..it could have been a cricket score...
Mossley really were our nemesis  in those years ...we copped a couple of hidings from them when we were beasting just about everyone else going around.

My biggest away win is worksop town 1 Alty 7 - I could have sworn Mickey moore got 4, but he only scored 3.  we were at Weymouth in the trophy the following week

The Merthyr game was great but I. like Cult, was a bit disappointed that we didn't get to double figures! Greedy or what?
Also there was the 8-1 vs Rhyl in 1966-7 when at 7-1 we were all chanting "we want Eight" as the eighth went in and everyone immediately changed the chant to "we want Nine"!

No satisfying some people eh?  ::)
