Title: Reevesy to Wrexham?

What would our thoughts be on losing Damien to the knobsock.
I imagine we would receive a transfer fee but I think he would be hard to replace.Thjs could seriously impact our season if true.
Let's hope it's just a rumour!!

The scout they had at our game was probably watching Summerskill.

It would depend on the fee, wouldn't it?

If they offer £100,000 I'd say thanks very much, best of luck for the future Reevesy, off you go.

If they give us some nominal offer, then obviously we'd be far better hanging on to him.

This is the decision

His goal/play + anything we'd get in the summer (doubt anything) =/>/< (lees ability to find a replacement + the money) - goal assiss and general play

He turned down four full time Conference clubs in the summer to stay so I'm not sure he'd move now.

And we will have had many players watched before and nothings happened.

He's a plasterer and it's only an interweb rumour (at the moment)

My point Is that, we could get a fee,but lose goals, performance and assists,  or let him go free in June but have goals*- and it boils down whether that loss is plugged by Lees replacement (If he can get one) - *reeves staying or going could be the difference in staying in this league or going up

Think Charlie Adam

If DR is on contract, it would be interesting what is in the small print.
ie, if a team comes in for him from a higher league, we would have to let him go.
Hope that isn't the case.

Well it would be a disaster to lose him, we would lose out on 20+ goals this season, and even with a decent lump sum for him we couldn't sign anyone decent unless we pay them overvalue wages which I'm not sure our club would ever do again

I learnt about Hess's Law in Chemistry in 1976, so I guess Twiss's is Ok too!

I imagine Twiss's  Law would be the number of goals scored at the end of a career is inversely proportional to contract length

Counteracted by Little's Hypothesis - amount of goals scored at end of career is inversely proportional to the square of the distance from your childhood home to the ground - in other words if you return to your home town club at the end of your career you score a bucket load.

I am prepared to believe we arevseeing Twiss's second law being formulated that introduces level in the pyramid as another variable.  The same analysis could be performed for Little although level in the pyramid seemed not to make a difference for him

How can Wrexham afford to buy Reevesy when they forecasting a loss of £729,000 by the end of this season?

They've obviously attended the Jim Rushe School of Accountancy.

Given their recent history getting the losses down to £729,000 is positively making a profit!

They are probably losing more money. It makes me laugh these so called big clubs that can't afford to pay the bills but still manage to keep hold of their better players. Wrexham have got 6 strikers on their books. I'm pretty sure they earning a bit more than £150 a week each.

saunders comments in todays local wrexham player that he does want to sign a striker but that players agents are questioning the long term viability of the club until the transfer to the supporters trust has taken place.
