Two observations:

1. A link to our first glory days - Freddie pye manager 64 to 70 was a scrap dealer and employed jackie swindells on light duty during the week

2. A website johndavisonscrap.com - no he isn't, he's the best left back we have ever had

If we sign any more players who are "a car crash waiting to happen" we shouldn't have any trouble getting rid !

Good to see a local firm on board. Will John Laidler now replace the picture of Geoff's bus with one of a 1993 Ford Escort and an old cooker?

Welcome  on board and thank you.

Do we now give people a 'Davidson' and not a 'Goodwin' ?

Do they get Twiss as part of deal?

Based in Altrincham Cheshire, we at J Davidson are proud of our location. We take our standing within the community extremely seriously, not only as an employer but also as a supporter and sponsor of sport within the area.

We consider ourselves very fortunate to be in a position where we can give a little back to our community through various sponsorship programmes.

Because of this we are proud to sponsor a whole host of sporting teams and associations including:

Manchester Phoenix Ice Hockey Club
Andy Morris jnr - Commonwealth Bronze Medallist
Altrincham Kersal RFC
Team Racing GB
F1 Stock Car Racing

Their slogan is "we're talking scrap". Fits with most of the forum posts then...
