Absolute disgrace. Luton should start next season with no fans aloud in the ground or deducted points.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour. The conference will be able to keep FGR in the the league now at the expense of those tossers!

It would be easy to say that the worst of these is the appalling crowd behaviour, but I think the petition is just vile opportunism.

They should be made to play their entire set of fixtures away next season.

Conference statement

The Football Conference has followed the scenes broadcast nationwide at the conclusion of the Premier Division Play Off semi final second leg at Kenilworth Road this afternoon between Luton Town and York City.
In line with the rules and regulations of our national governing body, reports will be called for from both clubs and these will be submitted to the Football Association for further investigation. The Football Association will then be in a position to take any subsequent action that they may deem appropriate in the circumstances.
Whilst the Football Association are the authority having initial powers to deal with breaches of discipline, where clubs and their supporters are involved, the Football Conference retains the right to deal with breaches of their own regulations, specifically in relation to Rule 18 if it is felt necessary.
No further comment will be made by the Football Conference at this stage until they receive a report of the investigation findings from the Football Association

The irony is the ad is for a Luton Conservative on a petition to lose them from the Conf!

It would actually be quality for the players to come into our end on the way to the changing rooms. If it was Chrissy Senior and Youngy they'd probably still be there chanting with us now!

The only good thing I can find from this is how nice it looks to see Brodie cowering like a little girl- I'm surprised he didnt throw himself to the floor holding his face

I like this one

Name: Colin Peake on May 3, 2010
Comments: Luton Town are in clear breach of conference rules. Reinstating Forest Green Rovers would not only be the fairest option would also restore some moral legitimacy to the football conference.

Who did the petition? can't have been fgr could it?

Keep Luton in the conference so we can all laugh at them for another season....also lets remember, there was probably 7,000 Luton fans there today.....maybe 200 on the pitch and maybe a dozen throwing bottles.....maybe they need to play behind closed doors for the season at home and see how they cope with the loss of revenue....

And with what happened at sheff weds as well there needs to be some sort of official guidance on away teams celebrating in front of home fans particularly when the home teqam have at the same time lost out big time.....not condoning any of that behaviour or excusing it but it is clear that players in particular over celebrating on someone else territory seems a dead cert to cause trouble.

I'm pleased luton are out of the play offs and wish oxford or york best of luck in the final.

The York players did nothing wrong from what I've seen. They've just earned the chance to play at Wembley for a place in the football league. Any team deserves to celebrate with their fans in a situation like that.

What happened at Kenilworth Road today was a total disgrace.
