Hi everyone,
Just read the post from the dad who takes his children into the family stand.
iMy lad is 10 months old now and I think it is time for him to come to ML.
As I usually stand I was wondering if it would be better for us to sit in the stand? What do you think?
Also would I have to pay for him?
Thanks.

Yeah, probably better to take the wee lad into the stand until he's about 7 or 8, then he can learn the ways of the Golf Road!

I think it's chump change for kids that age isn't it? Couple of quid?

I don't think the club should charge for such small kiddies....but I'd phone them up and ask what the exact policy is.

Personally i think under 5s should be admitted free.

My lad is 7 and used to get in free until this season and it's still only two quid now.

I don't reckon thet would charge you for a baby.  Just lift him over the turnstiles and make sure it doesn't click!

If they do charge then come back on here and we will use fan power to get him a mini season ticket!

in fairness to Alty, The turnstile operators  used to let my two lads crawl underneath the turnstile when they were young kids.

First time I took Jennifer she was about 8 months & we sat on the front row of the Family Stand - you can have the pushchair in front of the seats without getting in anyone's way.

We will have to be careful - at this rate we will have more kids than adults  ;)

George has it spot on. We use our discretin. If they are young enough to need carrying then we dont usually charge. This also encourages them to come back once they are old enough to pay - as some have already said.

Tegan will be 2 in March but is already a fully fledged member of the highly covert firm the razor squad as she has been coming 2 seasons now

Obviously though as she is a high ranking member of this firm i could not possible disclose where we stand :)

She gets in free and the stewards kindly open the gates for us - thank you :)

Re. the admission fees for children at Moss Lane.

Surely the simplest criterion would be as follows:

if they are smaller than Chris Senior, they are allowed to enter the ground free of charge.....?
