So the manager thinks our strikers are not good enough? On todays performance I think you would have to say that the goalkeeper, defenders and midfield are also not good enough. I did not hear much encouragement from the manager for the players todayeither, where was Dale Johnson? we needed a big player up front to hold the ball today. That performance was utter garbage and many more like that will result in an early relegation!

The whole team commitment and effort is not good enough. There are teams we should be matching like southport who looked far better than us when we played them. We need a big forward reeves is not good enough for this league and Dale is over rated. A striker needs a good finish on him at least. As for the defence Ryan brown is never in position and there is no leader as Robbie is out. All be result to is long balls up front which we do nothing with! Hit and hope every game. Watching alty is watching the same sh*t on a different day. Very depressing!

As I posted several weeks / months ago, an ideal striker would have been James Walshaw who is currently scoring at Guiseley. As they are a club with some big backers, I would expect the chances of securing him would be limited to say the least. Another big target man would be Matt Rhead but he has recently returned to Eastwood Town.

Southport looked barely better than us - and they actually had a midfield !
