Looks like another club going belly up because they failed to see the writing on the wall several years ago

Denied entry into the Southern League.....in Admin.......with vultures about to move into their home (gone a bit quiet on that one mind you)......what next for them ?

Sadly there will be a few of the remaining original fans of Irthlingborough Diamonds and Rushden Town who increasingly likely will not have a team to support next season. Not many of us liked R&d but they were a club for some.

This meddling with smaller teams must be stopped, never has senior non-league football been so mismanaged and abused by individuals as it has in recent years.

Having said that, the first ever relegation season finished there and after the game we went into a pub down the road for a a quick pint and to call a cab to Wellingborough.

As we were leaving, just as the door closed, some T**t said F off Northern Bas7ards. Charming bunch of inbred shoeshiners. To this day I wish I'd gone back in and shoved the prick off his stool.
