I have not been on the site much recently which is why there has been no response to these questions. And I am not sure I am going to add much light right now, but I will do once more information becomes available. Five questions in all I think
1) What happened to the WhatsApp Match updates?
2) Do we still have SLOs?
3) Have much money did we make out of both play off games?
4) Are there any highlights from the Chorley game?
5) Will we be appealing Josh's red card?
1) The WhatsApp updates came to an end because of a technical problem with the phone we were using. And with that problem, we lost all the contact details too. We will look to relaunch, but we will have to gather all your details again - which is annoying for you all. So treat us gently when we ask again for this.
2) I think we did not create an environment in which the SLO could contribute when we set this role up two seasons ago. I want to ensure that they are able to make a real difference to this club and to the fans. Therefore I will be looking at ways as to how we can create a role with the right support in place and with the right access to the board. And then we will have another go at SLO and see if we can't make it work this time
3) The figures are not finalised, particularly Chorley because we need to receive a net amount from them. It won't be as much as we think because we will be making additional salary payments to the players for games in May. However I think its fair to say our performances towards the end of the season drove crowds that were higher than our expectations. Having said that, we have already put some of that money to good use!
4) There is no sign of any highlights anywhere - which is galling. I probably couldn't watch them anyway
5) We will not be appealing the card - we risk losing him for a fourth game should he be with us next season. By the way, and I didnt realise it, it was the same ref who sent Jordan off for stamping in the Stockport County Trophy game
I hope the above helps - although I do feel its a bit content light
