I didn't realise Danny Elliott had been recalled from Gateshead by Boreham Wood - good luck if they think Marcus is going to replace him.

Elliott linked with a move to York City - he's proven at this level, maybe York have more resources than us (you'd probably think so) as he'd be great here.

Danny Elliott has now signed for SC**thorpe.

sh*t.or bust from them. Need wins and fast

Seat on coach booked and online ticket purchased really looking forward to this one hopefully a good turn out from the Alty faithful would be fantastic if we can get 200 plus down there a fantastic opportunity to progress to the quarter finals I am sure PP and NS will do their homework on them tonight stay professional for the full 90 minutes and I am sure we will be to strong for them.
Prediction  3-1 to Alty.
Hopefully 200 plus following making a right noise.

Its going to be reallt important to try and back together for this one. The noise is going to be so important. Even when its a bit nervy.

So, to be clear, we're going to have to put a couple of contracted players on the bench instead of a couple of loans.
As said above, it will probably be a couple of youngsters.
There'll still be plenty of firepower and experience on the bench.

Our starting XL against Wrexham should be enough

Can still only make 3 subs

                         Byrne

Welch-Hayes  J.Jones  Baines  E.Jones

              Marriott  Lundstram

    Osborne         Cashman        Sinclair

                       Hulme

Subs pringle, Hugill, Kaja, Oyedele, Junior, Gould, Aljofre

Fitness aside, I'd play the same side as Wrexham.
Good shout that Hashtag, Don't think it will be far from that team/squad.

Imagine we may see the bench containung a reserve or youth player

Good Luck to Marcus, got far too much abuse from many Alty fans I believe, when he was basically trying to score goals for us.

No the worst striker we've ever had and not the best either. Onto a new chapter now.

Not even the worse strikee we've had since promotion

In the equivalent games last season, we took 16 points from our remaining league games (with the addition of an extra game vs York). That involves swapping Lynn at Home for Gateshead, and Dover away for Dorking - both of those are now much harder fixtures. This site predicts the league table using some unknown model, and has us finishing 19th, 2 points clear of relegation: https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/national-league/league-table/predicted

Thought we were really good yesterday, given all the turnover, and really liked Cashman in particular. But we need these arrivals to get match fit and gel, quickly. We didn't win any of the next 7 last season, and if that happens again this year we'll be sucked right into it.

Yes, this makes a lot of sense.

I think 19th is about right given the upheaval, but agree too that finding the right combination from the multiple options we appear to have at present could easily propel us much higher than 19th.

It says we'll take a single point from Eastligh Gateshead SC**thorped Oldham and Dorking which I cant see, us failing to pick up more than a single point from,

My suggestions were tongue and cheek… I was just fitting words to songs to see if I could get some cogs moving and seeing if we could come up with something new.

Aaaaallllttttrrrriiiinnnncccchhhaaaammm…
Aaaaallllttttrrrriiiinnnncccchhhaaaammm!

Sung about 15 times, slow and dreary. Maybe it’s an easy one to learn.

To be fair the Gyasi one was good yesterday. That will stick.

Unfortunately, with the crowd on non regulars, basics or easy to join in tend to be most popular. 90% of 2018 was singing Jordan Hulme.

As someone starting chants reguarly, ill go with the ones I'm most confident in getting the opening line correct.

Baines chant has legs, we had 6 months singing about going FT, so this couls work

Given the importance of this tie, I would hope  Gould is on the bench

A physical challenge, collision with a player or post, a red card for Byrne and it could be a long afternoon

Our songs are so slow and boring… at least the Dinanga chant put a smile on everyone’s face.

How can we sort out some upbeat higher tempo songs?

A couple of hundred hymn sheets handed out at the next home game and we could get the place rocking!

😂 Bore off. We've songs to half of Abbas Disco classicsm

Was looking around at our youth today… looked bored, slow long chanting! I’m not the only one that says it. Like I said, the Dinanga one made people smile. Jordan will be off soon and as for starting some, I did try as above (sh*t or not!)

All for your chants, give it a go and see what the reaction is.

Those bored youth should spent less time filming and more time singing

One of the most frustrating players we've had in seasons. Wish him loads of luck except at our expense.

Is he

We've banked a fee for him.

I think it's about time we gave Marcus a bit of a break.

Fixed for you 😊
