Do Boreham Wood still impose an embargo on any radio commentary by the media personnel of visiting clubs?

Seem to recall last time we were there Radio Robins didn't operate because they
charged a fee for visiting teams to be able to broadcast.
For their recent FA Cup tie against Southend United they declined media
accreditation to the local paper which covers Southend.

Pretty straight forward sorting out this TV stream...

Re Radio Robins - hope RR can get permission to broadcast as some prefer radio or may simply prefer it as cheaper option to streaming... hope RR gets the ok for Saturday to give Alty fans both options for the footy coverage...

Boreham Wood FC have confirmed today that we are not permitted to broadcast Radio Robins from Meadow Park on Saturday.

We are planning to provide a remote commentary from the TV stream & details of the Radio Robins service on Saturday will be included in the match preview.

Can't believe they wont let RR in to broadcast...

At least Radio Robins can still provide a radio service via commenting on the TV Stream...

How can clubs like Boreham Wood & Dover get away with banning radio broadcasts? Maybe we should not let them in our ground as payback (though guess that would be childish and we're better than that)... are there any other clubs who ban away radio/TV coverage?

If the BBC rocked up for a cup commentary they'd happily lay on tea and cake for the crew.

As a direct result of this I will not be buying their stream and shall listen second hand via radio robins. The only way they change is hit their pocket

I will not be getting streams from any club but Alty anyway - I only want 1 club to get my money.

That's my stance at the moment too. It's Radio Robins for me.

Understandable for ££ reasons of course but I doubt the 858 people who paid for the Chesterfield stream on Tuesday night were all Alty fans & I imagine over Xmas we’ll be looking to cash in from the Stockport fans for example-it’s a two way street for every club at our level struggling without gate receipts. I have generally been paying for the away streams myself but not for tomorrow given Boreham Wood’s grubby conduct re away teams media, it’s a very poor do & simple greed.

For the first time this season, I shan't be purchasing the live stream either.

Yeah I’m of a similar mindset at the moment, don't feel like subsidising a Club that won’t let our in house Radio team broadcast in their ground. Like others here, I’ve not missed an away stream yet ..just hope I don’t weaken at the last minute and change my mind!

It wasn't really a commentary was it? The camera work was also compromised by the equipment. It couldn't cope with a fast moving picture.

By far the worst stream of any so far this season.  I've watched each game using my son's X-box as he has he largest screen in the house.  This has always worked fine.  Today, only a black screen and no commentary.  Shocking.  Managed to get to see the second ha;d using a laptop instead.

Jesus, if they can't get their own tech act in order, wtf do they think they are in a position to refuse Radio Robins entry to broadcast?

I'm normally very appreciative of the effort and  time put in by those arranging live streams and commentary but this has really annoyed me today.  There's not much going on to keep spirits up at the moment but watching Alty is right up there.  Their crappy attitude matched with poor service marks them out as wholly amateurish in the very worst sense of the word.
