Whilst I never forgave him for putting Harry Gregg out of action with a vicious foul in the 1958 Final, he was undoubtedly a legend. RIP.

About 15 years ago our Bolton Wanderers mad sales manager turned 40.....the companysecretary phoned Bolton Wanderers and invited Nat to a birthday lunch....Nat was happy to turn up without asking for a fee and made our sales manager's day....reminded me a lot of Jackie Swindells ...a legend yet a very modest and humble gentleman who stuck with his club and gave them years of service after his playing days..

RIP

I named my first son partly after Nat Lofthouse.  So much of what he did was done in the correct manner.  Loyalty, hard worker, determined, all the positives that go into making a MAN of a boy.

Nat Lofthouse -  A Great.

Went to the Reebox today for a collectors fair and  had a look at all the tributes being left by the young and  old some in tears. RIP
