If that's true - a very very highly rated winger.

Many times, their forum has had him as one of the best players in CN, yet against us, he has always been anonymous. I can imagine there would have been a queue of clubs after his signature, so well done to PP and his team and good luck Brad.

Hasn't he been beset by injury? Hope he's fit and in good shape. Last thing we need is another rehab project.

PS. Heard this from some Chester fans whilst having a socially distanced glass or two of red at the local here in sunny Saughall 😉

In before any agitation on our end - bit of patience with the club while they get things in order. Bit naughty of Chester this, really.

Wow, didn't see this one coming! Would be delighted if true, I know when JJ signed they said he wasn't a patch on him.

From the Cheshire Live website:

However, (Brad) Jackson has told the club he is leaving now his contract is up.

Johnson said: "Brad was made an offer on the same terms. He made it known that he wanted to try a higher level and we have absolutely no problem with lads being ambitious or wanting to try a level they haven't tried before.

"His agent has done what agents do and touted him about, and a club has said yes we will make him an offer and take him. I think in principle he has accepted an offer from a club at a higher level. That is his prerogative. He is a free agent and we wishing him nothing but luck going forward."

Morley and Johnson had asked for an answer from the winger by Friday evening.

Johnson added: "We asked him to let us know otherwise we would assume that he wasn't staying. To be fair to the boy, the deadline was 6pm and he has rung at 10am and explained the situation, left on brilliant terms. He is a great kid, good background, we don't have a bad word to say against him.

"It is his decision, essentially he is a free agent. Because of the way we work in terms of contracts, players are cherry-picked at the end of the season, that is just the nature of the beast. Along with Danny Elliott and Josh Askew, it is within their rights to leave the club and search for something new and he has done that."

An injury prone winger?

Haven't we got any of those already?
