Nobody "grows up" in Macclesfield. It's a time warp.

Remember...you are abroad
Remember...the police are rough
Remember ...the unemployed
Remember...my expense account

Baaaaaaaaaa

Now there is a tune!
Under Marble Millichip the FA broods...
-
Any true fan would support the town of there birth that's why im grateful to god I was born alty and not out of a sheep .
-
What we have in common with the sheep worriers is that we shunned the bigger clubs, around the region there are pleenty to choose from. ?That makes me think that if I had the humiliation of being born in macc I would have suported them

Why don't you have it on your milkman site then?

Words of a genius

I'm impressed by the fact that two people recognised those lyrics....hats off.
-
"But I ain't losing sleep
And I ain't counting sheep (sheeeeep)
No, no, no...."
(Not quite up there with Mark E Smith, I'll grant you).

I hope we sign a player or two tonight at training, so they can go on the team building weekend if there is one this weekend, and this sort of inane crap thread will stop
-
There's nothing worse than pre-season Inane Crap Thread Syndrome (ICTS) especially when spread by a bored Macc fan looking down the barrel of oblivion.

Oi Grandad ! Do you want to resubmit this in a form of language people from sheep-worrying country might understand ? ;)

I became Alty the day I patted Jack Swindells on the back after his 5 goals vs Scarborough in the FA Cup. (My first game) If that had been Dennis Fidler at Macc the result woulk have been similar and I'd have been a committed Silkman. We have to remember and respect our heritage AND that of other fans.

Well Bury, where would we all be if everyone supported Alty?

Nirvana.

Confession: I was born in Macclesfield and moved to Timperley where my family was from when I was a baby.... So I grew up Alty through and through!
Things could have been so different and I shudder at the thought...

Where are the Goodwins when you need one ? :D
-
if i had been born in macc,i would have asked my parents for a free transfer to alty ;D
-
I was born and brought up in North Manchester and I never for a moment thought of supporting M*cc. I was drawn to Alty and have stayed loyal for roughly the same as Bogman.
It's 50 years next year! Can't believe it.

wrexham in the fa cup 1963 i think it was,it was my first game

On the way home from the 0-3 drubbing and relegation at Rushden we still sang, passed a Macc bus from Kettering after winning the conference half full of dead people (well it appeared that way !) not singing, typical. Oh and Dennis sat next to me in the stadium so I had every right to be miffed that day :)
