I'm sure everyone appreciates the Geoff's efforts,

Would like to know everyone's opinion on who realisticaly would be the worst person to be calling the shots? Connett for me

Undoubtedly someone who eyes Moss Lane as prime development material. (Which i imagine it is!)

5 year plan to fund a load of high waged players in the short term. Sell the ground, and move us to a "purpose built facility" out of town...Partington/Carrington way maybe.

Crowds stay away...club loses money...good players have to be sold...club goes bump, and The Altrincham Supporters Trust F.C. ends up groundsharing with Broadheath Central in a bid to reclaim former level of league status from scratch.

Had we actually owned Moss Lane, I reckon that sort of scenario would have happened years ago anyway.  Having the council as landlords has probably kept us in business in the long term.
