Nice to see things are back to normal again, and practisedintraininggate will soon be just another patronising piece of punditry, long forgotten by us all, much like Lawrenson's comments about Mark Maddox in 2001.....

Runcorn tried that free kick many moons ago and it worked once or twice, can you guess who the assistant manager was at the time? G.H   Fluke, I think not!

I never forgot those comments and i doubt maddox did. It would have been nice for him to keep his camp trap shut for a change! Other than that he is a decent pundit though, whereas Shearer is just a pratt!

alan shearer was doubting that they practised that as a shot on goal with it going in off the far post, not that they practiced the actual move.
