...part with their manager.

Just show them Parky's selection yesterday and I think we'll be OK  ;D

I’d imagine he’s on their radar nonetheless.

I don’t imagine he would go at this stage of the season but stranger things have happened…

Let's not even think about it. He's staying to get us up 👆!

He rejected Notts. County, Salford would have to put a very tempting reward package together to tempt him. I can't see him leaving us to join them.

Given the crowds Bury are pulling through the door, I wonder whether Nev is regretting not holding his nerve and backing his local club that has more existing heritage and potential...?

You would  think Ryan Giggs  or maybe someone else with United connections could be in with a shout ,also Dean Holden

When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to refer to what it meant for Marcus Dackers' loan with us.

I still think any managerial change is more likely to lead to him being recalled, if only so that the new manager can have a look at him, rather than Phil Parkinson being offered the job, let alone taking it.

If I'm Phill I'm not binning off a near 10 year project for 6 months in a smaller stadium in the league above.

If PP can get us into the FL, and it feels like it's achievable for the first time since like 1979/80 (admittedly probably not this season), then he will become an iconic manager. If I was him, biased as I am, that would be my short/medium term focus as a young manager. Going to Salford, it's hard to see such a good story.

Notts County I could see the appeal. Salford? No.

A very good summary.
