I'm presuming it's the 9-2 against Merthyr 28 years ago?

Guess so - 8-1 at Chester Reserves to win the Cheshire League title for the first time in May 1966 was probably the last time we won by seven away, though we have scored seven since (at Runcorn in a Floodlit League game circa 1972, but they did score three in return, and at Worksop in the NPL in 1977 - the home side scored one that afternoon).

I can confirm biggest away league win since Chester Reserves 8-1 7 may 1966.

We did win 8-1 at Woolley Spirts in the CSC with Lee Poland grabbing 4

Our biggest away win was at gains Earlestown in 1963 in the FA Cup 1QR.  10-0.  Games was played at Moss Lane, but officially it was an away match

While we are talking statistics, I see that Alfreton have scored at least one goal in every away game, League or cup. Admittedly, the season isn't quite over, but that is very unusual, especially for a mid-table team.
Have we ever achieved that? Looking at championship seasons, I know we didn't score at Matlock last season,  and I can remember Andy Dibble's one good game in a goalless draw at Blyth in 1998-99. Less clearly, I think I remember a goalless draw at Weymouth in 1979-80, and I know we didn't score at Wolves in 1965-66, but I am not sure about 66-67 or 80-81, nor any other season I may have overlooked. Any ideas?
Of course, it is all very well scoring in every away game, but it's not much use if you lose 7-0 at home!
