Not sure if CCC signed on a one or two year deal last summer , if it was one year he could go in the summer for nothing

I believe he's contracted until the summer of 2026.

Wow, we gave him three years? I assumed it would have been two. He'll have a big price tag then.

Remember, recently Chris didn't quite make it at Fleetwood. This will be considered by any prospective buyers. It's more likely that a club like Chesterfield will pay a six-figure fee once they are promoted.

In the age of social media it's definitely to our benefit that his clips are picked up far and wide.

We all know his true value and if and when he leaves i sincerely hope we dig our heels in for a realistic fee which in my opinion should  be at least £200,000 + , especially if there's a built in sell on percentage for Fleetwood.  Mind you it is bound to be the usual 'undisclosed' episode with  us so probably never know anyway . Still 🙏 the lad will see out the seas
on of course.

Duncan Watmore allegedly left for around that almost 10 years ago - yes at least double it.Although if ccc was to go he may not be taking penalties for any potential new club.

Alex Newby seems pretty handy with dead balls in general.

I see that Josh Stokes joined Bristol City for £250k plus add ons, and then they loaned him back to Aldershot fir the rest of the season.

I think that's ultimately what I'd love to happen when we lose Chris.

Josh Stokes is the best player I have seen in the league. 250K is definitely a benchmark figure for any CCC sale.
