Great result today...

Who'd have thought it?  We are now unstoppable away from home!   Heathcote should get manager of the year, of course he won't.  Looking good and well done today!

after recent results he should get manager of the month. the drastic turn around from 23rd-13th should get manager of the season in my eyes (and i aint biased ::)) but somebody with a full time team will. my bets are: Daggers, oxford, burton, york or maybe (an only just) morecombe.  :(

I had thought the 1-o win at Morecambe was a fluke, but yesterdays result would suggest we are made of sterner stuff! There's nothing I can say that can add to what everybody else has already said. Perhaps, a win on Tuesday will guarantee 1) survival and 2) a well earned manager of the month for GH - now there's something to play for! I was pleased to read the comment about Warren Peyton being brilliant again. For me he has been the best player for some time. So much for us needing a left back - what do we know! Congrats to all the Alty boys - enjoyed the full and extremely biased commentary on the radio, frequently interrupted by what must have been an excellent away support.

Could you hear us singing on the radio then ?

Just had the conversation with Jacobs about Peyton. if he likes playing at left back then I see no reason to panic buy someone. He has done a wonderful job thus far.

Stevenage did sing and were quite loud during parts of the first half. they sing on the half way line though so the noise goes across the pitch as apposed to towards us.

I would say they were one of the better bunch of singers in this league.  They have a lot singing but as usual the few seasoned pro's from Alty made their voices heard. There may not be many of us but we can sing loudly.
