No.

Welch's goal was a header.

Denham's wasn't.

Not sure about the Hanchard goal.

Correct!

Yes indeed, they have all scored against Alty on New Year's Day...and then subsequently gone on to sign for the Robins.

Hanchard's was in a 3-2 Alty win at Marston Road on 1st January 1987.
