SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY
« on: July 23, 2010, 10:02:27 AM »

from the BBC website.
Sheffield Wednesday have been served a winding up order by HM's Revenue and Customs over an unpaid tax bill.

The action by HMRC relates to an outstanding PAYE balance which amounts to £550,000.

The club, who remain confident that the outstanding debt can be paid, will appear at the High Court on 11 August
so another one, when will these clubs learn.
At this rate i think Alty could be top of the Premiership lol

And Manchester City today unveil their new astroturf pitch on the roof of a school in Harlem, New York...that incidentally, cost the same amount of money, that Sheff Wed owe!!!

I wonder if - after the plea for cash injection on the main site - we may have a new 3G surface atop Roberts House or The Cresta in the near future!
