From the Crawley Paper concerned:
Crawley manager Steve Evans has dismissed fears surrounding a winding up order served on the club and insists any unpaid debts will soon be settled. Reds are due in the High Court on May 14 after being issued with a winding up notice from Revenue and Customs. The Blue Square premier division club have a history of money problems and came close to liquidation two years ago. Evans said "I do not think it will go to the High Court, the cheque is raised and ready to go. "It is a stagnated process and people have to announce things but it is not going to be happening. "I was told about it last Thursday and was
informed the funds were being moved across to pay it so I have not given it a second thought. "There are always stories at football clubs but when you live in the world of football you realise that it happens not just to us but to the best of them. I've got no issues of concern
I assume the funds were travelling in a fleet of cars then?
