following on from thread of th eyear idea below how about an oscars ceremony to be held whilst evryone has a big drink at their desks as there are far too many exiles to meet up.

nominatiions please for the following

male and female poster of the year

longest thread with a sub award for starter

funniest thread/ funniest post

serious thread/ most erudite and sage like post

bad tempered thread/ best individual rant(post)

peace prize given to the poster who calmed down the most bad tempered thread

Least knowledge of vegetables and punctuation.


Any other suggestions and who wants to be the committee looks like a job for Jezza

Not sure about the vegetable one, if we are recalling a thread pertaining to the avacado, may I point out that it is argued that it is either a fruit or in some circles a nut but not a vegetable.

These things get earlier and earlier don't they? it's only mid November and already we are talking thread of the year....we'll be posting threads about who is going to save us when we finish 4th bottom soon then.
