Sorry to dampen everyone spirits this morning but on checking the ground we have discovered someone has caused vandelism in the ground over the weekend. Due to this and its location we have had to extend the sterile area into the popular area by about 10 foot.
Sorry to cause any inconvience enjoy the game.

Altrincham FC First Team / Geoff Goodwin to go to jail shocker

I'll face jail, says coach boss
Alan Salter

LETTER: Wesley Goodwin
BUS firm boss Geoff Goodwin says he would rather go to jail than pay a parking ticket slapped on one of his coaches in Sale.

The penalty notice from Trafford council was served as his coach waited in a lay-by outside Sale baths to pick up schoolchildren - under a contract awarded by . . . the council.

Mr Goodwin, owner of Eccles-based Go Goodwins coaches, who has had the swimming contract for all Trafford schools for eight years, says double yellow lines in the Woodlands Road lay-by were put there at his request to stop cars parking there.

He says that if his coaches are not allowed to wait there, youngsters would be at risk and have to cross a busy road when they come out of the baths.

He is taking legal advice after Trafford's parking bosses refused to rescind the ticket because, they say, the coach waited for more than five minutes and there was no driver at the wheel.

Mr Goodwin said the driver was at the back of the coach - and needed to wait for the 40 or 50 children to come out.

"I am only doing what they have hired me to do," he said. "I'll go to prison before I pay it."

Trafford council said its parking officials were planning to meet Mr Goodwin this week.

IS Mr Goodwin right to make a stand? Have your say.

What's the latest time you can get through turnstiles? And if they are shut is there any other way of entering(paying full admision price of course)?

There is a late gate till half time by the mainstand failing this go to the main entrance and ring the bell it is manned till the exit gates open.
