Stockport County getting their business done early

http://mobile.stockportcounty.com/news/article/county-announce-retained-list-for-201617-3094181.aspx

A load released and some already in on pre-contracts.

While I'd be wary of taking rejects from a team in a league we have come down to, are there any here we would maybe want to look at?

That is one clear out early, need to get in early if they intend to start rebuilding now. So much competition in this league locally. Despite it being the end of the season I think Neil needs to get the players who are arsed in now for a discussion.

Not one there that I'd entertain.....and especially not Tom Daly.  Sorry, Richard Brodie.

I've never heard of most of them.

Brodie - jeez. Do you know what? I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see him land up at Alty - not a bit surprised. Similarly, I can see a number of our players (Griff, Luca) making the short trip to Stocky.

Could Brodie do a job for us ?  If so, sign him - don't want us to be 'the good guys' anymore - it gets you nowhere and very few in this business care anyway

get brodie in and kyle perry back......jake would be our leading scorer with about 40 goals....mostly pens.....and lots of 1-0 victories with kyle wasting 40 of the 2nd 45 minutes....

we've been too nice for too long  ;D

Hear Hear Mick, sign as many winners as possible and full away segregation for every league fixture, even for those that bring ten. People will remember the champions, not how many times a player dived against them. A lot thought Perry was a C**t prior to arrival.Never got relegated on his watch...

Obi Onuruo was brilliant for Colwyn Bay last season but has had 2 poor spells with Gloucester and Stockport since, seems to have lost his way.

There's a reason why a mid table team gets shut of half their squad

Agreed on all fronts there. Lots of very segregate-able games next season. Keep them in that end and stop our lot dispersing onto it.

True - but that does not always mean they cannot do a job elsewhere
